Introduction Biramangol College

Affiliation : The College was affiliated to Guwahati University till 1980. Thereafter it wasd affiliated to Manipur University in 1981 vide order No. MU/3- 13/81(II)/3444-47. Dated 10-08-1981 in Arts and Science streams. Now the College has got permanent affiliation as a full-fledged Degree College in Arts. Science and Commerce under Manipur University vide order No. 4753, dt. 27-03- 1992. Inclusion in 2(F)& 12(B) of UGC Act, 1953 : Like other premier Colleges of the State, the Biramangol College has also been included in 2(F)&12(B) of UGC Act of 1953. Blocks in the College : Art Block, Science Block with Laboratories, Administrative Block, Library Block. Land : The College has acquired 15(fifteen) acres of land under C.S.Dag No. 2040 of the Village No.29, Nungoi.

Strength of the Student fo every session(in average) :

In every session the College has at least 1500-2500 students approximatelyout of which nearly 90% are from underpriviledged sections.

Government College :

The State Government had given recurring Grant-in-Aid to Biramangol College in the year 1980 vide order No. 01-07-1979, dt. 30-07-1980. And since 22 nd Feb, 2019. The Biramangol College has been converted into a full fledged Government College
